Speaking of Liuhou Park in my hometown, I don't know how many times I have been there. Especially in kindergarten, spring outings often come here, leaving many happy memories of childhood. Liuhou Park is now free of charge and does not accept admission tickets (but admission to Liuhou Temple still requires 10 yuan, preferential policies such as the elderly can enjoy half price). This is the result of the implementation of public welfare preferential projects in Liuzhou City. Most parks in Liuzhou City are open to public welfare free parks. Where is Liuhou Park? Liuhou Park can be said to be in a unique position, located in the bustling downtown area. On the east side of the park is Bengtang Road. Every spring comes, the Bauhinia blossoms on the road open and turn into a purple and romantic road. Tourists like knitting and photography enthusiasts flock to it. On the west side of the park is the People's Square. There are Liuzhou Museum (introducing Liuzhou history and Zhuang culture), Liuzhou Art Center (a good place to watch movies and musical plays) and the music fountain of the square (open regularly one night a week). The Park goes northward to reach Sanzhong Road, Wenchang Bridge. Walk south to the most famous commercial street in Liuzhou, Five-Star Street. It can be said that there are all kinds of food, drink and fun around Liuhou Park. There are several gates in Liuhou Park, usually from the west side near the gate of the traditional Chinese medicine hospital. This is an invisible door with a stone tablet beside it. There is a big pond nearby, in which many carp are kept and can be fed with feed. Near the pool there are large rockeries, waterfalls, and holes similar to water curtain caves to shuttle. After entering the children's playground, many parents bring their children to play in the playground facilities on weekends. Liuhou Park is built mainly by Liuzhou people to commemorate Liu Zongyuan, a Tang Dynasty scholar who was demoted to Liuzhou as a thorn in history. It has a long history. The most worthwhile thing to see is the Liuhou Temple, the crown grave of Liuzongyuan. First, Liuhou Temple ticket is 10 yuan, and the preferential policy is half price. The couplets at the gate are inscribed by Guo Moruo. The ancestral temple contains information about Liu Zongyuan's life and later generations'calligraphy works. There is a stone tablet carved in the middle hall of the Yuan Dynasty, and a "Longcheng stone carving" is displayed in the outer hall. The inscription on the tablet is Liu Zongyuan's handwriting. The main hall of the temple has a statue of Liu Zongyuan, which is vivid and vivid. Second, the east side of the temple is the crown grave of Liu Zongyuan. Many people think that there are the bones of Liu Zongyuan. In fact, Liu Zongyuan's remains have been returned to Chang'an since his death. What remains here is his clothes and tombs in memory of him. Apart from the above two places, Luochi is also a place worth visiting in the garden. It is near the Liuhou Temple. The water here is very clear. It is rumored that Liu Zongyuan loved to come here for a walk when he was born. Now Luochi is surrounded by tall trees, birds, flowers and fragrance, which is a good place to enjoy the cool and summer. There is a hexagonal pavilion near Luochi, named "Citrus Pavilion". Every day many old bands from Liuzhou come here to rehearse and sing. Passing by, you can hear many famous songs sung locally. This is also the place where old people gather to chat and entertain in Liuzhou. In particular, we should remind you that a new scenic spot in the park is called Zhonghua Garden, which is registered with ID card (stop at 4:30 p.m. to enter the park and clear the court). There are many wonderful stones in Liuzhou, pavilions and balconies, which are very beautiful.
The environment is very good! Convenient traffic. In the park, the ancient trees are shady, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant! Osmanthus fragrans trees can be seen everywhere for a hundred years, full of historical sense! There are few signs in the park, but the locals are very modest and enthusiastic. They will tell you how to go patiently! Liuzhou is the best city I have ever been to. Fresh air, picturesque scenery, better people! Livable!
