I decided to visit Chilango for lunch today and I opted for the "vegetarian burrito". I'm not sure why it's called a vegetarian burrito as there is no tofu or meat alternative on offer, just thin strips of onion and pepper which the meat eaters get too. Both the black beans and refried beans looked very dry and over cooked but as the only filler for vegetarians I chose to get halfy-half. First thing to note is that the burrito as a whole was very dry- not what I look for in a burrito. Secondly, the salad leaves on offer were so tough that I had to pick them all out to be able to actually eat the burrito, very unpleasant. Overall I'd give the food a thumbs down. Now on to customer service. It was not very busy and after the lady had served me she began to clean down the tables. She started cleaning around where I was sitting and it was extremely annoying. After serving a few more people she started to refill the straws etc. which are very close to you as the tables are so small. An all round bad experience and I will not be returning anytime soon. Benito's Hat is so much better!
