Pret-a-Portea

Went with a friend and we had the best time. Large selection of delicious teas and those fabulous scones....

My friends and I have been enjoying the pret a protea afternoon tea at the Berkeley hotel Caramel room once a year as a finale to our annual London shopping trip for the past 7 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. The lovely (good for people watching) Caramel room is closed as the front of the hotel is being re-build and we were stuck next to a noisy birthday party large group of women at the far back this time in the replacement restaurant..not sure what it was called... Very disappointing given the price and previous great experience.the sandwiches are now triangle and not the lovely finger ones, the savoury snacks a disappointment and the cakes had whacky flavours... Saving grace are the utterly delicious scones but pls note that you have to pay extra for those !

虽然这个餐厅的菜品，菜单上面看上去很简单，但是他家的味道是不是特别不错的，最重要的是，对于我这种能吃的人来说，它的分量还是算挺大的。
