Has a table booked in the cocktail bar for 8 o’clock and a table in the restaurant for 9:15. Cocktails good and got onto our restaurant table at the time booked. Staff served us drinks and took our order quite quickly but the whole experience went downhill from there!! Starters came after about 20 minutes (which is fine), plates cleared away when done, but, mains eventually came out at 10:45!!!!! Far far far to long a time. To be fair front of house staff apologetic and did everything they could but not a lot they could do when the food just wasn’t there!! The food was good, no denying it, but, that’s really no good when the overall experience was so poor. Bill about £500 for four which is fine when the whole experience stacks up but not with such poor timing and we ended up not enjoying our night out. Wouldn’t return to any of Jason Atherton’s establishments I’m afraid.
Social Eating House的现任主厨Daniel Birk最初是糕点厨师出生,在SEH家的甜品中,这几分“功底”随处可见,恰到好处的甜蜜里中总贯穿着精妙的小惊喜。打碎外脆内软的椰子帕夫洛娃 (Coconut pavlova),合上一口芒果雪葩、香菜叶瓣,然后等待茴香分明的甘草味亲密地穿入这一切。还有微苦的粉柚雪葩,配上清甜的酢浆草 (Sorrel) 和带着微微锐气的薄荷果冻,清口而不平凡。有几份主食也不逊色,自家制的纽扣大的orecchiette意面富有弹性,拌入烟熏火腿、凤尾鱼各自的咸香,配几棵蒜炒紫西兰花,盖上一层绵羊芝士,鲜美至极。另外一道烤鹅肝酱,配上日式出汁高汤、昆布、松子和萝卜等材料,鲜浓温润,相得益彰。总体评价:美味高分,值得一访,符合我对米一星的期望。
开在中国城里面的一家西餐馆,特地要了一份牛排,是当天的主厨精选,还有特配的红酒,味道不错,牛肉很嫩,要了五分熟的,不老哦。
上过电视的名厨餐厅,没有想象的那么高端严谨,还是属于有点偏时尚休闲的感觉,大厨本人的照片和电视截图就一直挂在餐厅里,时刻突显存在感。
Social Eating House介于休闲和高档餐厅之间,我觉得很适合朋友闲聚或者情侣约会。餐厅的装修很迷人,特别喜欢它的酒吧台,调酒师的表演非常地精彩,鸡尾酒的味道也很棒,整个就餐的气氛都很轻松。服务生服务很周到,上菜的速度也很快。鳕鱼是从日本空运来的,非常新鲜,肉质特别嫩。煎猪排也非常棒,调味得非常,还搭配了芝士酱,外焦里嫩又多汁。香甜点巧克力布朗尼很特别,上面有一层朗姆酒焦糖烤成的糖衣,酒香和巧克力的香味完美融合,太好吃了。
炸鱼炸薯条乃是英国的名吃啊,身为一个在英国读书的,看见fish & chips就两眼发黑。其实这家的甜点也还不错。
羊肉和蘑菇不错,烤羊腿是特色招牌菜,相信绝对不会失望
这里的鳕鱼很新鲜,还有甜品也很好吃,环境也很棒

这里的葡萄酒非常不错,口感很纯正,非常好喝。我很喜欢这里的蛋奶酥,很新鲜,味道也很棒
