The Pavilion Cafe

Been here a couple of times now and we&#39;ll looked after you sit down and before you know it there come out with free hot naan bread with salad olive and sauces and the portion of the starters and mains are big never be able to have deserts yet or has anyone in our group but they still come out and give you a free Turkish desert as a free treat all in all great food and great staff 10/10

Of course Davy&#39;s is known for their wine but the food was equally good.  We thought the food was superb.  The chili brocoli, the green beans with shallots, the linguine - were all full of flavour and tender,d the vegetables were left green.  The steak was truly the way I like it - (a rare thing in London), and the chips some of the best I&#39;ve had.  Really crispy with good oil, soft, hot and satisfying.  The welcome from staff was great - the waiter was a little cool and a little slow, however totally professional.  Neither of us like music while we eat and talk.  Thankfully the music was not overpowering and stayed like a small irritation in the background.  This place is a find, mainly because of the great location, the understated, ancient interior and the fantastic cooking.

What a hidden gem! It might be small but WOW.First time eating Vietnamese food but the staff were so great helping us with our choices. The food arrived quuckly and when it did it was amazing. So fresh and tasty, definitely having Vietnamese again. Great value for money

We have been dozens of times here and the food is always very authentic. Portion size is good too and wines reasonable. It&#39;s our favourite Thai restaurant in London and easy to get to from Island Gardens DLR. When the weather is nice, it&#39;s super also to be by the river. The restaurant has a &#39;holiday&#39; feel and perfect for getting away from the hubbub of the City.

I enjoyed a wonderful meal here with the best fillet steak I have eaten and was extremely happy when I was allowed to use my 2000 Yums as part payment of &pound;50
