We had the place to ourselves as it joins on to a traditional fish shop take away. The staff were helpful with it kids

Great little bar, simple but really cosy and has a excellent selection of beers. It is a lovely place to spend a cold evening.

I really ought to go here more often, not only do they have great coffee and cakes, but the atmosphere is delightful. Lovely vintage furniture and friendly staff. Oh and a nice small selection of drinks as well.

It&#39;s a quiet afternoon, I know a client is going to call me a 2pm, and I&#39;m looking for a spot. I asked if it would be possible for the music to be turned off for while I was on the call. The other customer was fine with that (we asked). All good. I&#39;m a bit confused why the dishwasher was switched on next to me and the music put up 5 minutes later by the same person - I had to do a quick dash outside while on the phone, which is what I&#39;d hoped to avoid. Didn&#39;t feel welcome, and not inclined to go back. &pound;8.50 for a plate of salad and a black coffee a bit much, especially given that (none too subtle) hint to leave!
