The Mahendro family behind Downtown's hottest Indian gastropub have finally turned on the open sign for weekend brunch.
Indian fusion doesn?t get much better than the chicken tikka poutine fries at Downtown?s awesome Badmaash.
Best to make reservations! The poutine and spiced lamb burger is a must have!
This is the Dine LA lunch menu for summer 2013. Three courses for $15.
Pricey - food was ok
Loud, spicy, tasty, pricey, and unique. Maybe they ought to call it Goodmaash? Whatever you call it, this is a place worth sharing time with good friends over delicious food shared family style. It's a bit of a challenge finding food everybody can agree upon theses days - but I'd recommend trying it. There may be other restaurants in the neighborhood that are as good, but you can't go wrong with a meal at Badmaash.
Travelling to the USA for many years and have never found a good Indian restaurant that matches those found in the UK. The food here was excellent, the cross over of BBQ to Indian is a particularly new touch. We took our freinds who live in Los Angeles but had had little experience with Indian food, they loved it and will return when we are back in the UK. We hope to return on this visit
Pork Belly and Tikka Poutine Fries. Thank me later. Don't forget the Cutting Chai!!
Chef Pawan and his sons interpret homecooked Indian cuisine through impeccable culinary training. Each dish presents a specific combination of spices and flavors, with no redundancy on the menu.
Went to the lunch "soft opening" today and shared the chicken tikka masala & channa masala bowls. Delicious! If I didn't have to go back to work, I would have tried one of the craft beers available.
