You must must must get the buttermilk pie. This is hands-down the best buttermilk pie I've ever had in my life.
Whether it?s jambalaya, hush puppies, collard greens, or po' boys, this is the place to go for soul food in the Valley. Try the red snapper w/ fries & coleslaw.
The crawfish étouffée had a piece of crawfish and every bite. The service was lovely the servers were nice and the food came out relatively fast.
Such great Cajun and southern food. We love their fried chicken. It's not greasy and oh! so very tasty. We've also had their jambalaya which is delicious too. Their sides, especially their black eyed peas and rice, are great. I love their candied yams. Besides having fantastic food, the atmosphere is charming and comfortable. The restaurant is a small store front, nothing fancy, but when we walk in, we're greeted with a smile and a hug. We feel like family and, in this day and age, that counts for a lot. We love coming here for the atmosphere and terrific food.
Delicious shrimp Jambalaya. And spicy. Perfect!!!
Best Cajun/Creole food in the Valley EVERYTHING is yummy!
It's a shame, but dont get the fried chicken - very plain.
great desserts - chess pie and bread pudding-
My absolute favorite restaurant in the area. Creole, southern and BBQ all in one place. Small restaurant and no reservations, so be prepared to wait if they are busy, which they usually are.
