Dishes were very simple yet packed with flavor. Only downside was the locale. Inside is small, hot and stuffy, outside is got flies that don't let you eat off the tables which are short, seat level.
The Bitches say: A. Brave the line at this funky LA eatery and get ready to carboload on some of the best toast on the Left Coast. Take the LAisms with a grain of salt + be prepared to see and be seen
Long line but moves pretty fast. Around 30 mins wait. Green Eggs and Jam is a must try. French toast (Brioche stuffed with jam and baked) was so good.
The creative genius behind Sqirl is Jessica Koslow. She is very down-to-earth and a lovely person. Make sure to say hello when you visit.
Totally worth the wait. These pancakes are to die for. Avo Toast is also a must try
Crispy rice salad. Get it with the works, avocado, & egg.
Their greens, egg and jam is tasty. No lines during the weekday mornings
The ricotta brioche with blueberry jam is a must. Coffee was fantastic.
Sqirl is just a really good place to have lunch. And somehow, that's OK.
Make sure to try the sorrel pesto rice bowl & 24 hr cold brew!
