I visited The Larchmont for dinner based purely on the reviews I had read. We were very warmly greeted &amp; seated on time for our reservation. The most knowledgable &amp; friendly server took great care of us right away. We followed his lead on house specialities (although I&#39;m sure everything is well deserving of being on their menu), and enjoyed some very fresh, bright &amp; quite surprising dishes. This place does not disappoint. It was all I had hoped it would be and so so much more. An absolutely delightful &amp; unforgettable experience.

The food is delicious and the service is very good! Everything is great, the foie gras is amazing, I also like the scallop dish, the appetizer green mouth shellfish tastes beyond imagination, thank you very much for such a great service, a great experience! Value for money, thanks to all the chefs and front-end service staff and bartenders, it was great.

The food was delicious and the menu had a great variety of choices. The place stayed busy during our entire meal. It was not a fancy place at all, very much a neighborhood feel, but the atmosphere was comfortable and fun. The variety of languages we heard spoken attested to its diverse appeal. We would definitely return.

The facade is simple but very design, leather benches and wooden tables have a high-end restaurant atmosphere, and the dishes can also see the chef&#39;s intentions.

I visited The Larchmont with friends and was so pleasantly surprised! Situated behind a wall of shrubs, The Larchmont appears to be a large house, but is a split level restaurant. The interior is clean white with moderate decorations. It&#39;s light and airy, not overly &quot;modern&quot;. The food was outstanding. We started with the crudo - which, infused with lemon curd and drizzled with toasted quinoa - exhibited fresh ingredients. I had the burger with a side of house cut fries. With so many fun items to chose from I was slightly afraid I was choosing the low road, but I couldn&#39;t have been happier. Cooked slightly over medium rare, the meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy and so flavorful. The three cheeses were awesome. James, the wonderful bartender, really worked to ensure we had drinks that were to our liking. His positive attitude and friendly discourse really made our night!

This restaurant is brilliant: excellent food (the burger is better than home made, the scallops out of this world, the peas and the sprouts vegetable sides made all of us want to ear our greens! The service was spot-on: a delightful waitress (Kate) knew the menu inside out. My friends and I sat comfortably, and the lighting was just right, the chairs comfy enough that we stayed for two rounds of after-dinner coffee and mint tea. It was the second time I had been there, and I believe it will now be my &quot;regular&quot; when I am in Los Angeles. And they have valet parking, a great thing as it is on the corner of Melrose!
