Luan county is situated close to the city of Tangshan in the north of Hebei province. The area has a rich history — it was the center of Guzhu, one of the first vassal states to be formed during the Shang dynasty. It is also known as the birthplace of shadow puppetry, Ping Opera and paper cutting, and has a number of scenic attractions.

The variety of botanical herbs found on Qinglong Mountain is a major attraction. There are numerous ancient architectural sites on Qinglong Mountain. In addition to Sancha Palace and Yangu Temple, Wanghailou, Luohan Cave and Longxing Temple were built throughout the years. There are also natural sceneries such as the reclining Buddha, Elephant Mountain and Yin & Yang wells.
The wax museum is located in the south of bridgehead at the West Square of the Ancient City of Luanzhou. It consists of "celebrity wax hall", "3D trick art hall" and "children's hall". The whole museum is made up by three independent theme halls in three floors. The first floor is a "celebrity wax hall", having over 30 wax statues. The second floor is positioned as "3D trick hall", which has 3D art exhibitions, strange and 5D tricks. The third floor is a "cartoon + motion sensing game theme hall".
