一家美东游The headlands park in late autumn has been covered by heavy snow, driving in a world full of forests. In the evening, before Thanksgiving, in the sparsely populated Mibei, portraits of indigenous people sometimes appear on the roadside. . . It's really different from the spring experience of @都看世界.

一家美东游Mackinac Bridge (Mackinac Bridge) is in Michigan, crossing the Mackinac Waterway, connecting Mackinac on the Lower Peninsula and Saint Ignace on the Upper Peninsula. The bridge is also the boundary between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. When the bridge was built, it was the second longest suspension bridge in the world (after the Golden Gate Bridge). It is now the fifth longest steel cable suspension bridge in the world and the suspension bridge with the largest span in the anchorage zone in the Western Hemisphere.

Mackinac Island
In this day and age of a fast-paced life, people often look for some peace and serenity while planning a vacation and what place is better than Mackinac Island. Mackinac Island in Michigan is surely one such destination where you’ll be able to sit back, relax, and have a great holiday. This island is located at the tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan, and the best part about this place is that you’ll see no cars on this island! Yes, no cars. Seems like a utopian line right? But it is not. Mackinac Island was named a National Historic Landmark in 1960 due to their preservation efforts of Arts and Crafts cottages and old Native American buildings. Cars were banned in the 1800s and ever since the only way to get around is a bike or a horse ride! All one has to do is get to the Island on a ferry, and voila, you will feel like you have transported back to an age where everything was green and beautiful.

Best Experience in Mackinac Island

Scenic Mackinac Island is a haven for summer vacation. Till today, it still retains its 19th century way of life. No motor vehicles of any kind are permitted within the island; while the horse drawn carts are of prevalence here. The round island highway M-185 is the only American highway that does not allow motor vehicles on it. Mackinac Island used to be a British colony and many colonial era buildings are preserved till today. Strolling through the city and streets of shops and restaurants in the evening, the rustic feel lends to the whole place an air of laxness. Some of the things to do; rent a bicycle or a horse cart to tour the island; taste the white fish and enjoy the dessert fudge; mount up to Mackinac castle to view the scenery of the island. Appreciate the uniqueness of this placid little island.

June to October is the peak tourist season and many people go to Mackinac Island for the summer. June is the lilac blooming season, and it is spectacular to watch horse drawn carts filled with lilacs, parading along the streets and boulevards. October is when the island is at its most beautiful; an idyllic setting of traditional housing, lake and red autumn leaves. For those who like going outdoors and sports in winter should consider Mackinac Island because its winter is like a white world, rich and full.
