The place is very pretty and peaceful, although sometimes it gets crowded especially during weekend nigts. Particularly on Christmas evenings until the new year, this is a must-visit spot. The shows of light are impressive, they are beautiful to watch. There are also restaurants for dining around it. #staycation We absolutely loved our stay here in Makati Shangri La. We booked two rooms and reception were able to link the rooms together for us which was a bonus. Highlight was the included buffet breakfast with different varieties of cuisine. Unmistakably the best thing to wake up to aside from the large rooms, clean bathrooms with glorious showers and bathtubs. We appreciated the refilled water bottles and fruit basket daily. Located in Makati means you can just about walk everywhere, from mall to mall and Greenbelt. Shangri La never fails to impress us and we look forward to visiting more throughout the world. Ascott Makati

We stayed at Ascott Makati for 3 days and 2 nights and the overall experience was excellent. Upon arriving, there were cookies in the kitchen table to welcome us in our room. The room was really huge and there was a separate area for the kitchen and laundry. During our stay we were also able to enjoy their swimming pool and breakfast buffet. Everything in the experience it was just so fun and satisfying, I can't wait to go check in again. #holidayvacation Greenbelt is a shopping mall located at Ayala Center, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines which is just near Glorietta and SM Makati. It seamlessly integrates the indoor experience with the outdoor in its expansive 12-hectare space. And look I caught a dragonfly accidentally, anyways I set in free in the Greenbelt park, cause that’s were in belong. #merryxmas

At the Pancakehouse in Greenbelt. Cheap, delicious food, plenty of outlets and table room to set up a laptop. Far quieter than the next door Starbucks. The workers are really nice. In Makati, this is a secret Japanese restaurant. It's concealed in a corporate building and there's no sign on the front. To come here you must know someone to know this location. The food is expensive, but it is really authentic. I ordered the katsu curry, the fried chicken and the sashimi platter! Everything is very new, especially the fish. This french mediterannian brasserie is great for semi formal to formal events and dining, they have impeccably prepared tables for the public or you can reserve a private room for a more intimate dining experience.
