I was walking around in Malate and found this monument on the corner of the street. It commemorates those who died to liberate Manila during World War II. The monument may be a relatively new structure. This is because the surrounding areas are well protected. I found the words on the sculpture of the Virgin Mary very moving. The Manila Liberation Monument is a small monument located in the Intramuros district of Manila, just inside Santa Isabela Park. When I was going from Manila Cathedral to St. Augustine Church, I was just walking past.
Just on the way to St. Augustine from Manila Cathedral, it was like a small garden. This is actually called the Manila Victims Monument. It was built to commemorate the civilians who died in the Battle of Manila at the end of World War II. In a field of flowers.
The Manila Liberation Monument is a monument dedicated to those who lost their lives in the Manila War.
The Manila Liberation Monument is located near the city center, very close to the Manila Cathedral. It is like a small garden with a statue in the middle. There are horse-drawn carriages around, you can take a horse-drawn carriage to slowly admire the surrounding historical buildings.
