About Roxas Boulevard

Your trip to Manila is not fulfilled without a trip to Roxas Boulevard, one of the city's most recognizable and adored landmarks. Originally called Dewey Boulevard during the American colonization of the Philippines, this outdoor walking area and public square was renamed Roxas Boulevard after the first elected president of the Philippines, Manuel Roxas. Whether you want an entertaining and lively walk through one of the city's most busy centers during the day time or a relaxing stroll through countless restaurants and bars in the evening, Roxas Boulevard is a landmark sight you do not want to miss.

Rojas Coastal Avenue is an Avenue along Manila Bay in the Philippine capital, extending northward from Manila International Airport. This Bay area is also Manila's most spectacular and beautiful sunset area. It seems that every evening you can see the burning clouds.

The most beautiful scenic spot in Manila is a 10-kilometer-long Sunset Avenue, Rojas Seaside Avenue, which stretches straight from south to north along the coast for 10 kilometers and is the only way to enter the city from the airport. Rojas Street is named in memory of Rojas, the first post-war president. Broad roads, coconut trees, high-rise buildings on both sides, hotels, nightclubs and other flourishing unusual.

A taxi ride from the airport to a downtown hotel will pass Rojas Seaside Avenue, once on the beach of Manila Bay, once on Manila's urban buildings, and on the way you will see a lot of local Jeepney features.

Sunset Boulevard runs along Marilla Beach, and it's good to take a walk at night. However, if you drive or take a taxi, try to avoid the road as much as possible, because congestion is common, and when the meters are constantly beating, you may still be motionless. If you come from the airport and plan to go to Malate or Ermita, the taxi driver will ask you if you take the elevated road to avoid the congestion of Sunset Avenue. Usually this kind of effort is valuable and time-saving.

Rojas Coastal Avenue, 28 kilometers long from the mouth of the Bashi River in the north and Manila International Airport in the south. About 50 meters wide, windward coconut trees, colorful flowers and the Bay reflect each other - making it Manila's most classic scenery.
