La Table Melhoun

We found this restaurant by accident. You enter a riad with a beautiful large interior garden. They also have interior seating and small rooms for groups. The atmosphere is a peaceful quiet retreat from the craziness of the souks and El Jaama Fna but just around the corner. We had the 3 course lunch fir 130Dh ($14) per person. This included a selection of 4 or 5 small plates of different salads, a main course, desert a drink and mint tea with desert. I had chicken citron tajene which was absolutely wonderful as were the salads. Desert was orange rounds with cinnamon also great. All together, this was the best most pleasant meal we had in 8 days in Marrakech. I would strongly recommend it.

The restaurant environment is good, the food quality is also very good, the cooking is very authentic, so the taste is really good, the fish are basically cooked in the original taste, very healthy

There are many people in this restaurant, mainly foreigners. The western food is very authentic, especially the steak here, which is very tender, and the dishes here are very light.
