It is a statue of Dori Inoue on the outer circumference of Josai Elementary School on the west side of Marugame Castle. Michijo Inoue is a poet of the Ed Shogun Overroad era and was born as a daughter of a Marugame feudal retainer and is famous for diaries, Chinese poetry, and Waka poems. He was highly valued by Masuken Kaibara and was an educated person representing the region.
