The Sanei Maruyama location is a large-scale village site that lasted from the middle to late Jomon period. Eventually, archaeological workers discovered large-scale semi-terrain-style sites, adult and child tombs, and large pillar-shaped building bases. A large quantity of cultural relics such as pottery, stoneware, earth and stone products, and bone horns were also dug up in the area, and jade and obsidian introduced from other areas were also found. The appearance and environment of the village at that time were well known to the world.
