We came back after many months without dining here. We had been going to the other Killiney on lygon street because of the free parking there. That said, we had been disappointed with a few things at that branch. Will review that one separately. This branch however is fantastic, food is great, service is great and is well worth the extra walk to get here. Really happy we came back!

Going there again recently and ordering my favourite and usual meal, the Nasi Lemak was a huge disappointment. The Rendang was the wrong cut, was chewy and tough. It was not &#39;lemak&#39; enough and the flavour did not enter the meat. One bite and I spitted it out. Flavour was all wrong and the long cook time to ensure tenderness was not there. The sambal chilli was a mistake when I was told the chef decided to change the recipe. It was nothing like the Nonya style sambal that every true nasi lemak wiuld have, instead it was a mash of onions and someing more like chilli oil. Then the chicken curry came, but the curry lacked any flavour, compared to the past where it was full bodied and thick. It tasted like someone decided to their money further by adding water to the curry!! Yuks. Very disapponted with the quality and standard of execution. Either cost cutting, change of management, change of chef, or plain laziness set in. I have now lost faith in this food outlet, and will find another better place to have my meals. Incidentally, I heard the staff sneeze constantly without covering their mouths. No hygeine standards.
