This is a cafe restaurant with outdoor seating, located in Federation Square in the heart of Melbourne. This is the Melbourne Cultural Arts Centre and one of the local landmark tourist attractions. It's just opposite the very classic Melbourne Railway Station. There is also a visitor center on the square, which is very lively with people coming and going.
Cane here for breakfast as i arrived early for work in the cbd and chose it for the convenient location. The waitstaff were friendly, professional, and attentive. I had a mixed fruit drink which was lovely and tart though overpriced fit the size at $8.5. I had the eggs benny for my meal which was on the smaller side and could have benefited from a side of hash or something for size and presentation However the meal itself was good, eggs were cooked perfectly, plenty of good ham, the only downside was the hollandaise. It might not be too bad for most but i love my hollandaise tart and this could have used a bit more vinager. But there was plenty of sauce and it was ok. Overall it was a good experience and i would visit again.
