disappointing
Terrible road in. Expect a at least one flat tire. Scenery is not as pretty as in the park. Most of the forest is dead due to either/both beetle kill or fire. Waste of a day in Glacier.
Kintla is one of the 2 most northerly of the park lakes. It takes a few hours of driving on gravel roads outside of the park to get here but it's well worth it for the views.
Went there on a rainy day that was not good for hiking. Very few people up there compared to other places. It's a dirt road, but ok in a standard SUV. Nice lake for walk around.
When I saw this lake for the first time I almost cried. The lack of motor boats is a welcome change and less people makes it even better. I’d say this is the best choice for kayaking. Expect a bump...

Crystal Clear Lake Way up North

Dangerous road
Not worth the crazy dangerous drive up! Bowman was just as a good and a lot closer to Polebridge!!!!
