Ananda Temple

Ananda Temple is located in the east of Bagan's ancient city wall. It was built in 1105. It is a relatively complete and beautiful Buddhist temple in Bagan. It is famous for its symmetry and balance. The two statues in the north and south are the original golden Buddhas, while the two in the east and west were damaged and rebuilt after the fire. The golden Buddha in the south is breathtaking.
