The restaurant opens early in the morning, so breakfast is also available. Generally speaking, it is a very cost-effective restaurant, the interior decoration is okay, and the taste and workmanship of the dishes are also quite good.
Went here multiple times for both breakfast and dinner recently. Breakfast amazing, great selection, very fresh and high quality. Highly recommend. Dinner outstanding. Ordered the salmon one night and hamburger the other night, both were spectacular. Konstantin was extremely helpful and personable in assisting us in our orders, even going the extra mile and offering to create/make certain plates not on the menu to accommodate our tastes, all with a very kind and positive attitude. Really focused on the customer experience. We really appreciated his ability to think outside the box and make it a really great night for us, made our experience in the hotel a great one. Food outstanding, service even better, will return!
It's part of the Intercontinental hotel on Tyverskaya road. Good varieties of food, nice pastries, smoked salmon and one other white fish, caviar, made to order omelette, yogurt, oatmeal etc. etc. Very cost effective if it's included in your room bill. Slightly expensive if pay separately: RUB 2650/adult, free for infant, though.
I was amazed by the size and beauty of this restaurant. From outside it looks just ordinary, but once you are in, then be ready for being almost like in very lavish beautiful Opera house or a Royal palace. The food was great, really delicious. We were a big group of fifty people, so we had a fixed menu, the waiters were very timely with every course put on the table for every one at the same time, they were always very quick to respond to any request.
Sadly we only ate dinner in the bar downstairs but we had breakfast here for four days in a row and it was really first class. Everything you could possibly want in a breakfast plus much much more. Also wonderful service every day. First Class.
An OK experience--nothing really exceptional. A blandly italo-continental menu. Very limited descriptions. Sea bream arrived under a pile of garnish that added little to the experience. Was nice to see a Russian wine by the glass, seemingly the only local touch on the menu.
