The Church Square of the Kremlin undoubtedly integrates the essence of the church. Five churches with different functions have different styles. They are the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Virgin, the Cathedral of the Receiving of the Virgin, the Cathedral of Angels, the 12 Apostles'Church and the Cathedral of the Storage of the Virgin's Law Clothes In addition to these churches, Ivan's Bell Tower, Tsar's Cannon and Tsar's Bell can also be seen around the square.
One of the main areas visited by visitors to the Kremlin is the church group around the Cathedral Square. In the middle of the square, every Saturday at noon, there will be a performance by the Presidential Guards, which is very exciting, but not in winter. It's better to occupy more than half an hour in advance.
The Cathedral Square is not big. But here's where the presidential inauguration ceremony is now. It used to be the Czar who held weddings and funerals. All around are the highest Orthodox churches in Russia. It happened that the members of the Chinese delegation were on a trip with Xi Da.
The Cathedral Square is located in the Kremlin Palace. It is surrounded by three cathedrals, the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Virgin, the Cathedral of the Presentation of the Virgin and the Cathedral of the Archangels. It was the place where Czars were crowned. Fortunately, we happened to see the Chinese delegation visiting Russia.
Located in the centre of Moscow, the square is not big and there are many cathedrals. It was once the place where the Czar held the coronation ceremony. Now the President of Russia also works in the Kremlin beside the square. It can be said that it is the political and cultural center of Russia.
The centre of the Kremlin is Sobornaya pl, surrounded by magnificent buildings with golden circular spires. In churches and courtyards, you can see Ivan Bell Tower, Notre Dame Bell Tower, Bishop's Palace and 12 Apostolic Church, Notre Dame's Cathedral, Notre Dame's Cathedral, Archangel's Cathedral, Polygonal Palace and other buildings, as well as exhibits and Orthodox-style icons inside the church. Each church is small in size, but the murals of the icons cover every corner from the bottom of the wall to the roof. Always spectacular! The middle of the courtyard is the best place to enjoy each church. Of course, if you go up to the bell tower, you can see all the onion tops!
It is the place where the princes of all parts of Russia swore allegiance to the Grand Duke of Moscow. After adding the title of "Czar" to themselves, "Ivan Rei Emperor", it became the crown Church of the Czar. To the south, Ivan IV's throne decorated with exquisite wood carvings, which was built in 1551, is still preserved. The silver chandeliers in the church are said to have been built to celebrate the capture of 300 kilograms of gold and 5 tons of silver from Napoleon's army. Unfortunately, no photographs were taken.
