We were recommended the pound bend float from a friend. It took about 2.5 hours which apparently is fast compared to normal. Get in the river in the east side and get out where the tunnel shoots out...
There were a lot of people over the weekend which weakened the experience but the water was great and the kids had fun. Parking is bad with that many people . Still, it was a different experience ...
It is an interesting place when I read for nearby places to visit. The river and dock are there and informative notices to tell you the history of the place. Nice short visit.
