Ocean Expo Park

Okinawa Ocean Expo Memorial Park (The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium) is a comprehensive, subtropical, large-scale park built in 1975 at the site of the Okinawa International Ocean Expo. The park covers an area of 700,000 square meters and is 3 kilometers north and south, with the theme of "Sunshine, Flowers, Sea". It is also the second largest marine park in the world after the Atlanta Georgia Aquarium.

Ocean Expo Park is a state-owned park established at the site of the Expo in August 1976 to commemorate the Okinawa International Ocean Expo in 1975.
