About Mui Ne

Mũi Né is a small fishing village located on the Mũi Né Peninsula in the south-central Bình Thuận Province of Vietnam. The village retains its old look, with many brightly-colored fishing boats harbored on its coast. Here, you will also find the famous Red Sand Dunes, where the maroon beauty of the sand is enhanced under the purplish light of sunset, creating a remarkably romantic setting. At the dunes, you can strap on a sandboard and experience the excitement of boarding down the sandy slopes.

Rural Area
Mui Ne Fishing Village is located in the eastern part of Mui Ne. The fishing village still maintains its original appearance, plain and natural, both a fishing port and a beach. Walking down the steps of the fishing village to the beach, fishing boats of different sizes and colors are pulled up onto on the shore, taking on the appearance of toys from a distance. Here, visitors can enjoy beautiful sunsets and taste delicious seafood.

Geological Sites
Fairy Stream flows through the sand dunes and rock formations on the east side of the city of Mui Ne. Hidden within the dense forests, it possesses distinct karst landforms. Walking in from the small alley, a series of stairs leads to the Fairy Stream. The deeper visitors venture, the more fascinating it becomes. Beneath their feet a soft reddish mud squishes and the water is very clear. The sand on the bottom of the streambed is very soft. The shallow water trickling just beneath the insteps of one's feet is pleasantly cool and relaxing. Entering the Fairy Stream and moving forward, a vista suddenly opens up before the visitor as the stream becomes wider. To the left is a high rock band colored brightly orange-red, while the right has swathes of broad-leaved evergreen trees. When visitors reach a high point on the reddish terrain, they can view Mui Ne far below them.

Mui Ne, located between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, boasts beautiful beaches and sand dunes; it was listed as a tourism development area around 1995. The former Mui Ne was a fishing village and its main source of income was the production of fish sauce. Now, Mui Ne is a famous seaside resort in Vietnam. In recent years, hotels and other resort facilities have rapidly emerged here; the availability of other thrilling activities, such as windsurfing, has also increased significantly.

One of the must go beaches in South Vietnam, Mui Ne Beach features excellent wind providing an advantageous environment for various water sports. Mui Ne Beach boasts crystal clear water and a soft and fine sand beach. At this relatively less frequented beach, you can relax on a deck chair, enjoy the gentle breeze, listen to the waves, watch the fishermen drawing their nets ashore, picking up some sea shells, or you may also go for the more exciting windsurfing sport.

The bus to Ho Minh City in the center of Ho Chi Minh does not need to go to the bus terminal to take the bus. Whether it is the bus of Futa or the new coffee company, the shuttle bus can pick up the passengers at the Fan Wu Lao Street site and change the bus to a place. So just wait for the bus at the station at Fanwu Old Street. At the Fanwu Laojie Station, the staff of the bus will ask which hotel to get off at the bus and will be sent to the door of the Mui Ne hotel.
