Oh so cute!! And so tasty!!! Munchen is as cute as it can be. And come Oktoberfest: this place gets oh so festive!! Came back for my second Oktoberfest few months ago (Cheerssss) and discovered this spot! Funny enough, it is right smack in the middle and I've been to this area a dozen plus times before discovering this spot! But I'm glad I did!! One can only go to Oktoberfest everyday and be ok with it. This was my hangover cure afternoon! That and I was planning to go up the clock tower and wanted to see it before I go! Viola! Coffee is huge here! But Bavarian desserts? Even bigger!! They have special coffe floats with ice cream and liquor! All kinds of fun cakes, tortes and of course: beer! We sat inside first but decided to move outside later since nobody was inside. It's a chilly time of the year but still made it ok with so many people sitting outside! That smoking though~ argh I hate it!! Back to my food~ marzipan!! I'm a fan of all things marzipan! And Germans make them so well!!! Marzipan shaped like pretzels?? Yes please!! How about a super delish marzipan torte filled with raspberry cream and other goodies? Umm yea!! Wasn't cheap! €9-12 a slice but they are huge! I had two cups of cappucinos (chocolates on top Yumm) and my delish marzipan cake! Most people know that I am anti desert! I rather have a glass of wine. But in Munchen, say yes to dessert! Baguettes, pretzels and all things baked! I had cake from right next door with a very fancy giant cup of coffee sundaes too but this place takes the cake for my favorite sit down/people watching/ clock tower watching/ fast service/ good cappucinos making marzipan spot!!! Now if only I can get a slice or ten ship to Seattle right this moment!!!
