If are traveling to Munich, Germany, the Alte Pinakothek is an attraction well worth your time. One of the oldest art museums in the world, the gallery houses a very famous collection of paintings by some of the Old Masters. In addition to this world-class collection of paintings from Germany, Netherlands, Flemish, Italian, French and Spanish painters, it is also proud to display one of the largest canvases ever painted, Ruben's "Last Judgment", which was completed in 1617. The building has served as an example for later galleries with its modern construction that has held up over time.
