Right on the corner facing Inokashira Park and the infamous Iseya Yakitori joint, Va Bene is a cozy restaurant that serves great food for lunch and dinner. It's a casual place and the "must-try" is their beef and pork steaks. Their specialty is definitely MEAT. Almost everything is made from scratch, from their bread to desserts. Yes, they have pasta and their chef spent years in Italy so the food is Italian-based but more international. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent. Lots of people visit after a stroll in the park, but I'd say half of their customers are local residents who are regulars.
