Galari Fort and Milani Fort were both built during the Portuguese invasion period. They were the main strategic defense bases in Oman in the 15th and 16th centuries. They were built on steep rock walls and commanded a high position, both on offense and defense. Has an excellent geographical advantage. The two fortresses correspond to each other at a distance, and the momentum is extraordinary. The only way to enter Fort Gallary is through a steep staircase, so it was once used as a prison. But now it has become a museum showcasing the traditional heritage of Oman.
