Suwa Shrine is a large-scale shrine in Nagasaki City and is often called Jinsai Taisha Shrine. In addition, there are Japanese weddings, celebrations and other ceremonies in the shrine. Every autumn (October 7-October 9), the "Nagasaki Palace Day Festival", one of Japan's three major palace day festivals, is held. one of the important events. During the Warring States Period, three shrines in Nagasaki were burned down by the Catholics at that time. In the 2nd year of Kanei (1625), the three burned shrines were rebuilt in Wonsan (now Matsumori Tenmangu Shrine).
