Landmark near Barn Bridge
Original Text
A retro Western-style building near Barn Bridge, Horikawa Zoi in Nagoya. It is now a restaurant. The street in front of the former Kato Shokai Building still remains the historic building of Mitsui Sumitomo Bank Nagoya Branch and the former Nagoya Bank Head Office of the heavy stone Western architecture, and it is a street where you can enjoy walking around the city.
It is a building near the bridge over the Horikawa River along Hirokoji-dori. It's not that big, but it has a profound feeling. This is the building where the former Thai Consulate was located, and now there is a Thai restaurant.
This is a building at the foot of the bridge over Hirokoji-dori in Horikawa, about a 13-minute walk from Nagoya Station. The first floor is a gallery and the second floor is a restaurant. It's retro, but it's a new and heavy look.
If you walk from Fushimi Station toward Nagoya Station, you will find a small stand by the Horikawa River. It seemed to be built lonely without being familiar with the atmosphere of the new buildings around me.
Showa 6 It is a rare building that was built by Kato Shokai as a company building and escaped the air raid. The exterior is retro Showa design and creates a fashionable atmosphere. It is a Thai restaurant, probably because it was used as a Thai consulate.
