We were on our way to a Thrift Store when suddenly, I noticed a huge temple near Yagoto Station. It was Koshoji temple. Upon going in, I saw a huge Buddha statue right in front of an old tower. It was such a picturesque sight. Going in to the temple area is for free. You may observe the devotees doing their rituals inside. Facing the temple, at the right side is a cemetery. It was my first time to see a Buddhist cemetery up close. It's interestingly different from the Christian cemetery I grew up seeing.

Kosho-ji Temple in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan is located at 78 Yashihoncho, Showa District. Xingzheng Temple was built in 1688. It is a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves in Nagoya. The five-storied pagoda, the big Buddha and the red leaves are set against each other, very beautiful.
