Nagoya is especially suitable for day trips.
Morn to Tokugawa Park and Tokugawa Art Museum, and go to White Bird Garden in the afternoon. Both belong to the Japanese garden, the Tokugawa Garden is larger, and the White Bird Garden is smaller. However, there are many local couples in Tokugawa Park who take wedding photos, and the clothes are exquisitely beautiful. The accessories and hairstyles are also very particular and very eye-catching. Tokugawa Park originated from the Tokugawa family's second generation of lords who want to find a secluded place to retreat. It is a typical pool spring returning garden in the Japanese garden. In 1931, the Tokugawa family donated it to Nagoya City. It was destroyed in 1945 by bombing, and the later restoration project was not completed until 2004.
Water is the soul of this garden, a lake, several small streams, several different styles of bridges and a small waterfall. The entire courtyard uses high and low terrain to preserve the natural woods and form a three-dimensional rock group. In the autumn, you can admire the maple leaves gradually red and yellow, and in spring, 2000 peony and irises are extremely beautiful.
AKIMATSURI IN TOKUGAWA PARK 🍂🍁✨
Went to Tokugawa Park with my friends during Akimatsuri 2018. Of course, we chose this timing because the Park entrance is for free during this time! We enjoyed the view, especially the mini-waterfall at the inner part of the park. We were not able to take photos of ourselves coz where busy taking the view in.
Tokugawa Park is located in the vicinity of Sakamoto Maru in Nagoya. It was relocated from the second generation of Ogaki-eup, Tokugawa Tokugawa, in the eight years of Yuanlu’s relocation. Four sleeping owls, Ruilong Pavilion, etc. are all well-known attractions in the park. In the 16th year of the Heisei, a new pool-style returning garden in the style of the princes was built in the park, and the Pengzuo library, which is based on the old collection of the Tokugawa Tokugawa family, was expanded and opened as a Japanese-style courtyard.
