I haven't been in Chaotian Palace for more than ten years. I made the first porcelain in my life here more than ten years ago. Every time I passed there, I looked at the stall selling antiques at the door, looked at the red wall, and then I left. I never went in again. This made the doorway without scenery. I always felt that the scenery was far away. The warm sun in winter is very good, carrying the annual card of the park in high spirits, found no tickets, found no Chaotian Palace, called the Nanjing Museum, entered the door to find that there are no stalls selling antiques, inside the shops are all gone, feel broad and magnificent, although the area is not as large as the Nanjing Museum, collections are not as many as he does, still have a solemn atmosphere, the weather is thousands of feelings. A group of little fart children lined up to play on the slides in the doorway. In the warm winter, everyone had a great time. The stones were polished by generations. In the courtyard, there are still more ginkgo leaves on the ground, and the sunshine is golden and beautiful. Two exhibitions, one is the cloud clothes and hairpins. The cultural relics are unearthed from Nanjing. The jewelry is very beautiful. What surprised me is that the silk clothes of the Song Dynasty are so well preserved and the luster is so soft. It's amazing that they just come out of the box. The other is the Sinking Ship and Trade Porcelain Exhibition on the Silk Road at Sea. Porcelain is basically for civilian use, and its exquisite degree can not be compared with that of the Royal Royal Emperor. It's amazing to know the history and see how many ships have sunk. To the east, there are Jingyi Pavilion, Royal Stele Pavilion, Bamboo Forest Qixian Sculpture Group, Qing Dynasty Iron Gun, Ming Dynasty Liuliyao Kiln, which have not been seen before, feeling Chaotian Palace has become a new attraction. Chaotian Palace, located in Shuiximen Neiyeshan, Chaotian Palace Street, Qinhuai District, Nanjing, is the oldest and most complete ancient building complex in the south of the Yangtze River. The name of the Chaotian Palace was given by Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, to adopt the meaning of "worship the heavens" and "see the heavenly son". Yeshan, where Chaotian Palace is located, is the site of Yecheng built by Wu Wangfuchao during the Spring and Autumn Period. It is one of the birthplaces of Nanjing's main city. After that, it experienced vicissitudes of life, either as a monastery, or as a Taoist concept, or as a learning palace. During the Ming Dynasty, the Chaotian Palace was the place where the court practiced etiquette before holding a grand ceremony, and where the bureaucratic children learned etiquette before they were feuded. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, Taoist buildings in the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties were transformed into Confucian temples and Jiangning Fuxue (the old site of Jiangning Fuxue was changed to Nanjing Wumiao).
Chaotian Palace can be divided into two parts: Nanjing Museum and several halls. Jiangning University is now for office use and can not be visited. According to my experience, a few halls mainly appreciate their magnificent momentum, and half an hour is enough to walk down. Nanjing Museum is divided into four districts, about two hours. It is worth noting that although the whole scenic area closes at 6 p.m., the museum and the service center are closed at 5 p.m., so the students who want to rent the explanatory equipment should go earlier. When I arrived at 4:20, the service center was no longer on loan. Let's take it as a warning.
Chaotian Palace is also the site of Nanjing Museum, located in Yeshan in Shuixi Men, where Wu Wang Fuchao built Yecheng in the Spring and Autumn Period. This is the highest grade, largest area and most complete preservation of the existing buildings in the south of the Yangtze River. Although some of them were later rebuilt, the ancient buildings are still beautiful. When the first snow of 2018 came, the Chaotian Palace was dressed in silver and set off the ancient buildings, which seemed to come to the world of movies and TV dramas.
There are few scenic spots without mountains and seas of people during the National Holiday, which existed in the Northern and Southern Dynasties. After Zhu Yuanzhang was expanded into a place of worship to heaven and Zeng Guofan was expanded into a temple of Confucianism. Therefore, the area occupied is quite large and the building community is also upright. It serves as a Nanjing Museum, presenting the valuable exhibits separately, naming Yutang's excellent artifacts, exhibition layout very carefree, and also made three special features. The exhibition, the Silk Road on the Sea, the service ornaments of the Song and Ming Dynasties, and Chen Zuoyi's painting exhibition are really good. Of course, if you are not interested in such cultural attractions, you may feel bored.
Chaotian Palace is divided into two areas, the periphery is free of charge, there are red stone slides, children especially like. The inner courtyard needs admission tickets. It can be visited free of charge on the 10th of each month. See the figure below. There are two volunteer lectures every day, at 10 a.m. and 14:30 p.m., and there will be a radio announcement before the lecture starts. There is a permanent exhibition, Nanjing Museum of Urban Development History, strongly recommended. Here are the precious historical materials of the Six Dynasties, but it is better to catch up with the explanations. The official volunteer explanations are particularly detailed, so that we have a good understanding of the history. Linshi Museum has wreck salvage exhibits related to the Silk Road, which are quite exquisite.
When I come to Nanjing, my favorite place is Chaotian Palace. Tourists are scarce and history is solemn. Seeing the silly stone lions in front of the door, I felt a little unserious. Walking on any of the steps inside is a step on the history of hundreds of years ago. There are many exhibitions. The building is gorgeous. Quiet, birds and flowers, light wind and light clouds. Sitting in a daze, thinking about life, you can. The only thing is that I travel alone and nobody takes pictures. This place is very suitable for photography, step by step, is a picture.
1. The name here is Chaotian Palace, the main building is also Ming and Qing Dynasty style, also used for various purposes, but now the name is "Nanjing Museum"; 2. In addition to the history of Chaotian Palace, Nanjing's historical relics, there are treasures here, there is a town hall treasure "Yuanqinghua "Xiao He Yuexia pursues Han Xin" Mei Ping"; 3.2017, October-November, I was lucky to visit the rare "sinking of the Marine Silk Road". Ships and Trade Porcelain Exhibition) are all treasures borrowed from museums all over the country. While enjoying the national treasures, Nanjing Museum is still very powerful and respectful.
I went there in January 2016 because the exhibition of cultural relics unearthed at Changgan Temple in Jinling has been withdrawn, and the admission ticket has been reduced from 60 yuan to 25 yuan. There are exhibitions in several halls of Chaotian Palace. It's easy to miss them when you go in between. Facing the Dacheng Hall, the right-hand side hall is the tourist center. You can get free travel brochures and rent free voice interpreters. Facing Chongsheng Temple, Nanjing Museum is on the left. The exhibits are not as exquisite as Nanjing Museum. But if you know the story behind the exhibits, it is still interesting. The best thing is that there is a room on the second floor where old black and white movies like "Crow and Sparrow" are broadcast freely and continuously. The door of the Jade Hall Exhibition on the third floor is relatively hidden, and there are treasures of the town hall. There are many grandparents outside the Chaotian Palace basking in the sun with their quilts. Compared with the tall Nanjing Museum, there is a humanistic atmosphere of grounding.
It's very big. You can get a guide map where you buy tickets. There are several temporary exhibition halls in it. But the main thing is the Dragon pan and tiger in the back, telling the history of Nanjing. The stone tablet of Qixian in the bamboo forest is very pitiful, and there are many flying insects in the forest. Most of them are photo exhibitions or personal exhibitions.
Chaotian Palace is the Nanjing Museum. It is regulated by the Confucian Temple. It is solemn and secular and generous. The first entrance is free of tickets. Many nearby citizens go to visit it at will. Museum exhibition area is not big, but it can be seen that the intention, volunteers will explain to you, bring children will be fruitful.
