Standing at 552 m, Victoria Peak is the highest hill on Hong Kong Island. From the summit area, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view. The public walking paths around the peak offer excellent vantage points for photographing Victoria Harbor and the marvelous Hong Kong skyline. It's possible to reach Victoria Peak by bus or via the historic cable car. There are stores and restaurants located in the Peak Galleria. Visiting at sunset or at night is simply spectacular. There is arguably no better place from which to glimpse central Hong Kong.
The view from Victoria Peak is like a page out of Heaven. I literally felt like I was on top of the world. The staff, from the photographers to the restaurant employees were friendly and professional. There was a wide range of restaurant choices and plenty of shopping experiences. This was an affair to remember.
Trekking up the Victoria Peak with a 23 months old baby is as good as having a 15KG packet of rice from the bottom up the top of the peak. Its a learning journey that one ought to do once in a lifetime. i believe my boy is the youngest trekker up the season in 2019 on HOng Kong Victoria Peak
This is a place of a dreamer, I remember when we go there that Im worriying about the money. But its worth it !! the place is very unique and safe. You have two way to go up. One is a bus and the second is mono trail. Most of the restaurants is good and affordable.
Visit early in the morning and enjoy a gentle walk around The Peak nature trail. The views from the nature trail is so relaxing, there are many benches along the way. Easy to walk around flat road.
Walk out of the Central Metro Station, there are signs along the way, just follow the signs. Serious super, when you go up the hill, there are two hours in line. Then there are still many people on the top of the hill. They can not squeeze in front of you to take pictures. After a look, they are ready to go down the hill. After having a meal on the hill, they get down again for nearly an hour by cable car. The two-way ticket for cable car is HKD90 per person. It can only be advanced and can not be swiped. If you buy a ticket for Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, you can go up the mountain first.
There was a long line to buy tickets for the Victoria Peak tram, so be prepared to queue for about 20 minutes in Hong Kong’s sweltering heat. The tram ride is definitely worth the wait if you don’t mind big crowds and people standing very close to you as you approach the door of the tram. If you’re a more adventurous type I suggest hiking to the top. The view of Hong Kong is simply breathtaking!
An increadibly beautiful place! We went there because it was highly recommended by everyone who writes reviews on this app, and we have never regretted it. You can see all of the city from there and if you go after the sunset you get a majestic view. The tram to the peak was not expensive at all and you can use your octopus card which makes the trip even more convenient.
Great place to walk around for the day- amazing views on the circular route around the peak. beware mosquitos on the steps down (its also a lot of steps!)
