Yuhuamen

Yuhuamen is named because of its proximity to Yuhuatai. In fact, the Mingcheng Wall has no Yuhuamen. This city gate was opened during the Republic of China and was later destroyed. Nanjing Municipal Government repaired the Mingcheng Wall and re-repaired it. Yuhuamen shouldered a new mission.

Yuhuamen is not the inherent city gate of Nanjing ancient city wall. It is one of the city gates of Nanjing Ming City Wall. Yuhuamen is between Tongjimen, Wudingmen and China Gate. Therefore, there is a rain flower platform near the door. Jiangning Road crosses the rain flower gate door from the north to the south, and crosses the Qinhuai River through the rain flower bridge. It is one of the main roads in Nanjing city, and the park is outside the Yuhuamen, with a beautiful environment.

Yuhuamen is not an inherent city gate. It was opened in the Republic of China for the convenience of entering and leaving, and was destroyed in the Great Leap Forward. Now it is rebuilt in recent years. To the south of the city gate is Jinling Manufacturing Bureau, which is also Chenguang Factory. Not far from the city gate is the Laomendong and Confucius Temple.
