Angel Karamra Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Negombo, and it is beautifully built!
I went back to the bus station and looked for a hotel. As I was worried, I didn’t find anything. During this time, I simply went into the village coconut grove and wandered along the path. I accidentally found a small and quiet temple with an exquisite large one with a height of more than ten meters. Standing Buddha. I came across a list of hawkers selling some kind of cooked, powder-flavored bean snacks, mixed with dried chili, dried shrimp, coconut meat and bay leaves. It was a rare delicacy I saw in Lanka (a small bag of 1.1 yuan). I also repaired my pair of worn-out sneakers (5.7 yuan) in a run-down shoe repair shop. The cheerful shoe repair brother has a much better English than me. I am ashamed!
It is the largest Indian Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka with exquisite carvings and beautiful murals.
Negombo was ruled by the Dutch and influenced by colonial culture. Most of the people here believe in Christianity. The religious buildings here are mainly Christian churches. The Angel Karam Temple is in Negombo. On the contrary, the cloth seemed a little special. When we went there, we wanted to visit this more famous temple in the area. It turned out that it was under repair at the time, so we had to visit the outer area and hurried away, and missed an opportunity.
