From "soup to nuts" this was an experience way above the norm. It's a fancy room and the attention to detail permeates every aspect of the experience. Fallon, our waitress, was incredibly helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable. Great salads, extensive wine list, great meals, wonderful desserts - nothing could have been better. Bravo!
I have known this top restaurant for many years, but I have eaten it in the future. In fact, this restaurant is the number one reason why I diverted my wife's attention to travel to New Orleans. The chef I know, Tenney Flynn, has known him from his high-end restaurant Chops in Atlanta. The seafood is changed every day, and only the best and freshest fish are provided. The red wine is great. Desserts are intoxicating! ! If you don't have a meal here, you really missed the fun of enjoying food! ! !
In early February 2016, we had a meal with a friend at GW Fins restaurant. Because it happens to be around the carnival, the restaurant is crowded. The location is just a few blocks away from Kenney Street at an intersection. Our seats (card seats) are very good and the service is excellent. The restaurant is a bit noisy, but it is inevitable when there are too many people. We ordered fish and it tasted good. This is the restaurant we visited for the first time on this trip, but it was our favorite. The waiters are also very nice, polite, enthusiastic and diligent. The food is served quickly, especially considering how good business is here. I will come again.
Excellent service and well set up table. The food is delicious, even though a main course costs $30 per person. I was not impressed by the beer selection but it was not expensive. The disadvantage of the restaurant is that there are a lot of people here, so the voice is very loud inside, it is difficult for you to hear the people at your table. But I have no regrets coming here.
An expensive restaurant, with an average price of around $50 per person. The service and environment are worth this price. However, the food is really not my dish. I ordered lobsterdumpling, it's really not my dish. The tuna tartar is very good, very fresh and delicious. There was a dish wrapped in Snapper with chicken skin, filled with curiosity, didn't dare to point it.
