The Alms House is located at 3029 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans. It is a building surrounded by gardens. The building and the garden are very beautiful, after more than two hundred years. Later, the mansion was presented to the local government by the descendants of Alms for tourists to visit. Although there are opening hours in the travel guide, we have been there twice according to the opening hours but the gate was closed and we were not able to enter. It is said that this mansion can be rented to private individuals for weddings or other events. It is estimated that we have hit it.
This is a luxurious 19th century manor house, including a mansion and a large garden. The original owner was a relative of Southern President Davis during the Civil War. Elms later bought the house and now it mainly rents out the venue for weddings.
