After maybe 100 meals at Acqua, I feel comfortable recommending it as an inexpensive restaurant with good (not outstanding, but good) food and usually friendly and competent service. Atmosphere is 'easy' and relaxed, with a small bar and usually a quiet sound scape although a large party can raise the noise level to bothersome levels. The Antipasto Acqua and most salads are a good bet, as are the thin-crust pizzas. Sometimes the specials are worth a try. Some pastas are a bit monochrome but are usually well done.
