In my 1st time in Manhattan I asked the concierge about McDonald to charge the battery before exploring she refused to tell me any place but this, & still feel thankful to her for delicious food
Try the Israeli Breakfast. Tasty!
Despite the name, this is not a "greasy spoon" diner. It charges high prices for food that doesn't match other upscale spots. Avoid the stuffed trout. Caprese salad is good.
Cheeseburger was a little disappointing no flavor in the meat at all but the Bronx Pale Ale save the night!
The pastrami burger was so good! Also love the cheesecake with strawberry on top
The Mixed Marriage, a savory french toast with egg inside, tomato sauce, sausage, and deep fried polenta is a candidate for best breakfast meal in Manhattan. The BD opens at 8AM, too late for me.
Great food and service close to the action
Food was good, staff were good, but c'mon guys, no Wi-Fi? It's 2013! The cell reception inside is pretty bad so you definitely need Wi-Fi. Especially if you're trying to attract us tourists!
Expensive for a diner 'eh! Not too mention I wanted a grilled cheese and wouldn't you know this is the only diner in the world that doesn't serve grilled cheeses.
A bit pricy, but... Chicken salad sandwich was great. Chunky pulled chicken, with crisp bacon and thousand island dressing. Fries were awesome too
