This restaurant came highly rated while on our hunt for great places to eat while in NYC. We were not disappointed in our choice. We shared bone marrow, shrimp cocktail, NY strip for two with all the accompanying sauces, and the twice baked potatoes. All were delicious and mouth watering. Very extensive wine list, albeit pricey. Selection of both wet and dry aged steaks. Fresh seafood selections and fine salads. Excellent!

From oysters to drinks, they&#39;re all served on a boat gently rocking on the waves of the Hudson River at Pier 25. Feels like a party and it is, the best kind of party. If you looking for the ultimate place to chill out the Grand Banks is your destination. Fresh food, great drinks and one the best atmospheres in New York.

The Grand Banks ship was a unique venue for oysters, appetizers and cocktails. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon when we boarded the ship and were absorbed in watching on e of the staff prying open the many different kinds of oysters from the east and west coasts. They knew the tastes of each and suggested certain toppings to put on each. Very educational besides the fact that the oysters were delicious. The cocktails are pricey, but worth it. They really hit the spot. It&#39;s an unusual spot to meet friends or go for a date, but everyone will love the ambiance, as well as the food!!!

If you can get a reservation on OpenTable, definitely make one! It gets very busy here after work. We were a party of 6 and some of our group was lagging behind, and the hostess wouldn&#39;t seat us until everyone arrived. I understand that this is a common policy, but it was 4PM on a Tuesday, and pretty much all of the tables were completely open. We had to just stand there until everyone showed up. If they had let us sit right away, we would&#39;ve started ordering drinks and spent more money! Otherwise, this is a great spot, and definitely worth checking out on a warm summer evening.

The restaurant is on an abandoned boat. Even on a cloudy day, there are many people with a wide view. The scenery is very good. The oyster platter is very fresh. The fried scallops are very fresh. There is no fishy tomato and watermelon fore dishes. It is very magical. Avocado and sashimi are a bit too ripe. French fries Rose wine, the night view behind is a great cocktail.
