We were visiting my daughter in NYC and wanted to find a fairly inexpensive place in the Lower East Side to take 5 people to dinner. Well, we found it. It had gotten good reviews on TripAdvisor so we decided to try it. It is very small and it is a family affair. I think the owner was our server. They make all their own moles. She brought a tray of four samples and said we could have any of the four on any dish. We started off with guacamole which was very good. They also give you salsa. We had pitcher of sangria for the table to share. It was just the right accompaniment for the Mexican food. The food is very authentic. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. They treated us to a slice of cake at the end-very good also. Really liked the ambiance of this place and the service. Also liked that dinner for five didn't break the bank. We will certainly return here on future trips to NYC.
