We were looking for a quick lunch and were so glad to find this spot. The rolls on our gyros were great and the chicken was fresh and not fatty. I suggest keeping the foil on, so the good stuff doesn&#39;t fall out. We were happy to find this convenient location with reasonably priced, good food.

This place seems to do a lot of take out, but I chose to sit down in their small very informal area in the back. I had a wonderful lamb gyro, which came on their own (very tasty) roll and not the standard pita bread that you can get on any street corner in New York. I was concerned it would not really taste like a gyro, but surprisingly it worked. You can put your own hot or yogurt based sauce. Minor quibble: I usually like a yogurt or tahini sauce, and did find their yogurt sauce to be too watery and unspicy. Vegetables were fresh and enjoyable. Would definitely eat here again and try some of the other dishes.

Looking for a nice sitdown restaurant before a show but didn&#39;t have a reservation so we stopped in at Turco. We&#39;ve been to Turkey and one of our favorite restaurants in our area is Turkish. This place was a real gem. The food was wonderful; even better than our favorite (I hope they&#39;re not reading this). The place is really basic, with a few tables in a sort of shabby area (much like one would expect of a pizza place), but the food more than makes up for it. The mixed appetizer plate was great with smoky babaganouj, ezme, tzaziki and fabulous dolmas. After having the dolmas in the appetizer my wife asked for another order of them.
