Doyle's of Dean Street

We ordered the Queen&#39;s platter and the Keralan fish fry as starters. The Queen&#39;s platter was really very good but the fish fry was excellent - I would order again most definitely. As mains we had the Lamb Lamprais with a garlic and coriander naan, and the spiced roast beef with a side order of aubergine curry and paratha. All food and breads were excellent and really flavourful, the meat was very tender and all was spiced very well. The service was excellent. When I coughed accidentally, there was water brought to the table straight away even though I hadn&#39;t asked.  We had a bottle of red which was also good value for money. Overall, very enjoyable and will visit again.

Lovely intimate restaurant buzzing with life!Food was exceptional - I ordered the Railway Lamb, Chicken Momos, roti and poppadoms. All absolutely divine!Portions were beyond generous with lots of meat and sauce in the curries -  so I was kindly offered a takeaway container which I&rsquo;ll make a lovely lunch tomorrow.Hannah was our server this evening and was extremely attentive and lovely - thankyou for making our visit so special.Highly recommend and most certainly will return.
