This restaurant has luxurious ambiance and serves high quality Mexican food. There is a salsa station that people can have salsa as much as they can. Salsa tastes like it was made from scratch. Food portions are generous.

We returned to Davio&#39;s for restaurant week as we liked the prix fixe menu choices and Davio&#39;s is not inexpensive. We had to wait quite awhile for our table though having a reservation. People just stayed and stayed despite the fact that the restaurant was full and it was obvious that people were waiting for their table. Christine, the manager, was truly apologetic and did everything she could in a tactful way to encourage the seated to arise. We really appreciated her concern and effort. When we finally were seated, she treated us to drinks, again thoughtful and appreciated. After this beginning, all went very well. My salmon was excellent; my husband enjoyed his steak and our appetizers of salad with beets and a cream soup were perfectly prepared. It&#39;s a pleasure to eat hot soup. Service is warm and professional, noise level is appropriate for conversation, and the ambience is casually elegant. In short, Davio&#39;s will provide you with a dining experience worth having the splurge.

In an area where it is hard to find good Mexican food (many New Englanders shy away from &quot;hot and spicy&quot;) it&#39;s nice to see a new entry into this much needed space. While it is located in a mall, the ambiance is quite nice and appropriate for an upper end Mexican restaurant. I like dives too, but this is not a dive. Some complain of high prices, but I would say the price is right for what you are getting. The Margherita cocktail menu is one of the most interesting and creative I have seen. I took Braxton&#39;s suggestion and went with the Spicy Martini and loved it. My wife enjoyed her Classic Margherita. Braxton was fantastic, immediately attentive, friendly and helpful throughout. Not only did he provide great service, but Braxton added to the whole experience - very rare indeed. The fresh guacamole was fun and very tasty. For entrees, I absolute loved my Filet Mignon. My wife liked the recommended Cameron&#39;s Jalisco, a shrimp dish, but while the shrimp was tasty, the side sauce was a bit too sweet. The portions were quite generous. After the chips and salsa (which were replenished gladly) and the guacamole, neither of us could finish our entrees so asked to take the leftovers home. Absolutely check this out! Would have been a &quot;5&quot;, but for the sweet sauce and we haven&#39;t checked out the other menu options. But we WILL go back for more &quot;research!&quot;

I came with my parents today after I finished the Boston Marathon for a celebratory dinner and drink. Everyone was over 21, but Besito insisted on carding. Despite my family vouching for my age and my number still pinned to my shirt, Besito refused to serve me without an ID (all I had with me was my iPod). The server hovered near our table most of the time, making sure no one shared their drink with me. Very annoying. The restaurant was empty, and service was slow. Good things clearly don&#39;t come to those who wait. I&#39;ll wait a while before going back to Besito.

My fish was soooo overcooked. There is no booze in the drinks. The hostess was incredibly rude. Our service was bad. The dishes were dirty. Nothing good about this place. We will not be back.
