Despite the busyness, the staff remained friendly and patient, the dinner was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The setting is atmospheric and historic. The staff was welcoming. We arrived early for our reservation and were easily seated. The meal was of good quality, the bread basket was generous, both meat and fish dishes were delicious. The restaurant was festively decorated for the Christmas holiday.

We ordered a 4-course &quot;surprise&quot; vegetarian menu. The courses were not surprising at all, they were simply the vegetarian options that were on the menu. What a disappointment. The first course was beet carpaccio covered in oil that tasted like smoked salmon. My partner doesn&#39;t like beets, but that wasn&#39;t the kitchen&#39;s fault. When the server asked us why we hadn&#39;t eaten the starter, my partner said that he didin&#39;t like beets. Then the next course came: one tiny overcooked (store-bought?) gyoza with - yep, you guessed it - the same beet puree with &quot;smoked salmon flavor&quot; that was on the previous plate. What a shame. The server should not have allowed the kitchen to put the beet puree on our plates after we had indicated that it wasn&#39;t to our liking. The truffle risotto that came after that was a welcome change, but it was nothing special and the combination of dishes didn&#39;t make any sense. It was clear that this kitchen is not at all at home in vegetarian cooking. The couple sitting next to us said that their food (not veggie) was okay, but the portions were so tiny that they were still hungry and the food took far too long to arrive. The servers were polite and did their best, but we will not be back.

Ondanks de drukte bleef het personeel vriendelijk en geduldig. Het eten was prima en de sfeer gezellig.

Leuke caf&eacute;-achtige sfeer, met jong enthousiast personeel die af en aan wat details herinnerd moest worden. Eten was erg lekker (ik had rendang, mijn vrouw de vega curry), al konden de porties ons inziens iets groter zijn.

A nice cafe-like atmosphere, with a young enthusiastic staff who had to be remembered from time to time to what details. Eating was very good (I had a render, my wife the vega curry), although we think the portions could be a little bigger.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Kleine kaart maar eten was prima. Heerlijke curry met rijst en gamba&rsquo;s gegeten. NB: Voor wc twee trappen af en op. Minder valide wc bij de buren ????

Very friendly staff. Small card but eating was fine. Nice curry with rice and gambas eaten. Note: For toilet two stairs up and down. Less valid toilet nearby ????

Hele lekkere gerechten (wij hadden de Vegan hotdog en het rendang gerecht) en diverse soorten verse gemberthee. Goed geprijsd ook en sympathieke bediening. Daarbij een fijn terras.

The whole dishes (we had the Vegan hot dog and the runang dishes) and various kinds of fresh gember tea. Also well-priced and sympathetic service. There is a fine terrace.

Uitstekend eten op een leuk terras. Door de drukte liet de bediening een steekje vallen, maar dat werd prima opgelost. De sfeer was heel relaxed. Prima prijs-kwaliteits verhouding.

Excellent dining on a nice terrace. The busy left the control a bit down, but it was quite well resolved. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Excellent price-quality ratio.
