The great ancient water conservancy projects highly reflect the wisdom of the ancients.
It (tuō) mountain weir is a great water conservancy project created by the working people of ancient China. It belongs to the imperial salt water storage diversion irrigation hub project built on the Yinjiang River, a tributary of the Yongjiang River. It is located at the exit of Zhangxi beside Tashan Mountain, Yinjiang Town, Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Located in the southwest of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, it was founded by county magistrate Wang Yuanwei in the seventh year of Taihe in the Tang Dynasty (833 AD). Together with the domestic Zhengguoqu, Lingqu and Dujiangyan, it is collectively called the four major water conservancy projects in ancient China. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a world irrigation project heritage. Praise for the great working people!
No tickets, and history, very suitable for taking children
Tashanyan is one of the four major water conservancy projects in ancient China, which embodies the wisdom and courage of the ancients. Its mountain weir is located in Yinjiang, the important town of Siming Mountain, with beautiful mountains and green waters and outstanding people. There is a temple next to it to commemorate the ten warriors who dedicated their lives to build it, and there is a newly built hiking trail on the opposite side. Not far from Tashanyan, there is a newly repaired Yinjiang Bridge, which is worth seeing!
It’s mountain weir and its surroundings are now well made. The dam itself still retains its primitive style. There is also a Tashan Park next to it, which is a good place for local residents to take a walk in their leisure time. In general, the mountain weir scenic spot is not big
